  • You can now subscribe to RSS feeds by clicking on the Radio Coffee Mug icon you can find on some weblogs. (Radio listener contributed by Joe Hildebrand.)
  • You can now specify the login user name and password for Web feeds. (Initial patch by David Stone.)
  • Whitespace is now trimmed from the RSS <comment> links.
  • Probably fixed the "System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values." error when closing Syndirella.

Download binaries, sources or installer.

The context menu for the items has a Copy Link to Clipboard command. This copies the link of the Feed, rather than the link of the item. It should rather copy the link of the current item, and we should have a Copy Link to Clipboard command on the feed context menu as sell.

Continuing kudos on the pace of development.

Tried the "Comment on this" on Don Park's feed (http://www.docuverse.com/blog/donpark/). The feed is in xml so the ampersand is encoded. When accesing the url the ampersands are not decoded so the post cannot take place, an error is displayed.

Rock on. A little suggestion though (and it's a bit frivolous, I guess, so no hurry): you currently highlight modified feed items in blue, but how about highlighting the actual changes? Mark Pilgrim has a habit of changing his posts a couple of times, and so I get a lot of blue, but it's not always obvious if he's added a new section (my memory ain't that good).

I figure you're doing some kind of comparison between both versions already, so how about some kind of visual 'diff'ing? You know, if a section has been removed, continue to show it, but give it a "strike-through" effect with the tags, and make new stuff a different colour so that it's easy to find the new stuff instead of feeling we have to read the whole article again or skip the update entirely.

Here's another, probably more welcome suggestion: do you have an Amazon/iBill/PayPal/what-the-hell-ever donation-account/beer-and-movies-fund? You may as well get something out of all this non-stop development, and I feel that $10 has more value than the heartfelt thanks of some guy you don't know.

I'm having an interesting problem. Sometimes after Syndirella updates, one or two feeds will be bolded in the list on the left, but they have no new content. The bold goes away if I exit Syndirella and then restart it.

Unfortunately, listening on port 5335 ala Radio Userland conflicts with RU listening on that same port. This should be a configurable option. With Syndirella running, I couldn't connect with my RU instance. I got them running together by closing Syndirella, launching Radio and telling Radio to listen on a different port, but the user should be able to decide which aggregator gets used by default.

Or perhaps it could somehow pass 127.0.0.1:5335 links on to Radio if it's running. I don't know if that's even techically feasable.
